Meet my newest Character...Rudy the Reindeer

Well of course I have to name him Rudy. That is my little doggies name so it works for me.
He fits in so well with my paintings. Feels like he has always been a part of my paintings. Not sure why I never did a reindeer before but now I am so happy I did. I think he will be into lots of mischief this Season!

Pinterest Project #15 Doggie Ice Treat for Hot Summer Day

I found this idea on  PINTEREST and I just thought it was the best idea ever!
My little Rudy Loved it and kept him busy for quite a while.

The original pin only shows a picture. I just used a Rubbermaid container and froze doggie biscuits 
inside of it. Next time I will use some little doggie toys.
Either way it was a Success!

Pinterest Project #11 Removing Pen from Microfiber Couch

I had hoped to never have to use this handy tip I found on pinterest..but low and behold yesterday Miss Emm decided she was going to create a masterpiece on my couch.
YIKES!!
I found a method that uses hand sanitizer to remove ink...and it WORKS!
Originally I pinned a method for cleaning microfiber with rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle along with a white sponge and white bristle brush. I did not have any rubbing alcohol on hand but I did have hand sanitizer..which is made of mainly alcohol. SO...see the pictures below at how well this method works. Here is the before Picture with Emmeline's art work....   :(  Oh and some rawhide stains from my lovely dog Rudy who likes to eat his biscuits/rawhides on the couch...blahhhhchhh!

 

 

 And here is the Result after cleaning with Hand sanitizer and Elbow Grease...
Couch looks better than New! I am going to do the whole couch soon! It worked great!

Rudy loves the rain..that was my inspiration for the first painting.

He hated it when we first got him..now he loves it.

I took him out the other night and got soaked because he wanted to stay out prancing around and chasing the raindrops!

Alley sneered at us from inside the house....

She and Rudy are just getting along fabulously lately. ;)

When I was taking the picture Alley jumped up and tried to knock it over..no kidding..

Rudy has taken to Emmeline's Minnie Mouse couch... He naps on this daily... AHHHH If only Emm would nap as good has Rudy...

Welcome to our Family Rudolph

We adopted a puppy...

His name is Rudlolph...aka/ Rudy! We LOVE him

He is a Bichon Frise...

We were discussing getting a dog for Emmeline and started researching the different breeds etc...

I had a black lab named dutchess growing up and she was just a sweetheart.. Anyway..

We wanted a dog that would be well behaved and gentle

We were at a Family Reunion last week and we were discussing getting Emm a white fluffy dog..

Well .... As it turned out my stepmom was looking for a home for this little fluff ball!

One of her clients had just gotten Rudy a couple of months ago but unfortunately got very ill and could not care of him. :(

It was Meant to Be!! I know it!

We got him last night and it has been a joy watching him and Emmeline play together. Emmeline loves him so much already..she even tried to give him her pacifier when we told her Rudy was tired...LOL

We still have Alley Cat..and I will be posting pictures of her soon too...

She basically still rules the house....

She already batted Rudy on the behind a few times...

She has to let him know she is still the BOSS!
