#203 Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

Ok...really this was a challenge today to make but I am so happy I did!
What a beautiful crust this is. This is not your typical pizza dough..this has added cornmeal in it and it is supposedly the recipe from Pizzeria Uno in Chicago. I have never been to the one in Chicago but I did try  their pizza at the chain restaurant Pizzeria Uno in Connecticut and this tastes VERY similar. Delicious.

#202 Strawberry Lemonade Cake!

WOW this was a really fun cake to make and I think I like that it looks vintage with that pink icing.
I added lemon zest to the icing and also made a simple syrup to soak the layers in with lemon zest.

Pinterest Project #182 Instant Pot Broccoli Cheese soup

I know it is the middle of July but we eat a lot of soup in our house every Season.

My daughter loved this one. This was so quick to make too in the instant pot!

We used the broccoli from my Dads garden and it was just amazingly good!

Something so right about growing your own veggies and turning them into a meal!

Pinterest Project #181 Amish Potato Rolls

Since we returned from our trip to Lancaster I have been craving these potato rolls.

I had them at the shady maple buffet and they were soooo good so I tried to find a recipe I thought would be similar and here it is! 

These are soft and light and pillowy. They are delicious.

Not too complicated but definitely time consuming. They are worth every minute though!!
