HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Well this year was a lot different than Last year. Thank God.  Last year we were without power due to Hurricane Sandy coming through. I remember it like it was just yesterday.
I am so Thankful that this year all the little ghosts and goblins got to go trick or treating!
This was Emms first "real" trick or treating outing. We had a blast.
She was saying Trick or Treat before people could open their doors. She was so good and polite.
Mommy was Very Proud of her little pumpkin today.

My Little Wind Blown Witch

Monmouth Mall in Eatontown NJ got power on so they hosted a trick or treat for the kids.
I thought that was so nice since so many little ones are so mixed up right now.
Hell...the adults are mixed up as well.
 I had no idea Thanksgiving is in less than 2 weeks.
Just wanted to share a few pictures..
Emmeline met her first princess...this little one was only 2 years old and was saying how cute Emmeline was.
She said to her mom...
"Mommy look a little witch...she is sooooo CUUUUUUUTTTEEE"
Her Mom looked at me and we laughed...they were adorable together...
All the while Emm was calling the princess a baby..she thinks all kids are babies..
Is this normal? I hope?

Just type it into the search and you will find it..if you have power yet...or even limited power on a generator.
They have up to the minute details about where to get gas/food/shelter and assistance...everything you need to know.
We are still on a generator here..no power back yet. Hopeful it will be on soon.
We managed to get gas today at 2 different stations..one we had to wait over an hour in Seagirt NJ and the other in Neptune for only about 20 minutes...things are getting better.

Hurricane Sandy

We survived Hurricane Sandy...
It has been a long few days and I count my Blessings that my family is safe.
The devastation is unimaginable...
The Jersey Shore is basically gone.
I am very sad but very Grateful we are alive.
Jersey will be back again...I know that because that is how we are!
We have the will and the fight to put it all back together again..
It might not be the same..but it will be wonderful again for future generations...
We are still without power where I live...
My wonderful Father..My HERO drove 3 hours to hook us up to a generator...
God I LOVE that man. 
We now have heat!
My little bug is snug in her bed...and we will be ok until power is restored.
I Love my State of NJ and all of the people living here..we will be stronger and better than ever after this.
This has made me realize a few things....
#1....We all take Electricity for granted
#2....I need to spend less time on the computer
#3.....I love my neighbors and need to do more to help in my community
#4.... We can survive on limited supplies if everyone pulls together it will happen
#5.....I love NJ and my brothers and sisters..and my family

This has brought me closer to my family and I am Thankful for that..we are a very close family to begin with..but when something like this happens..you Hug a little Harder...
