Toll House Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookies

This is the basic toll house recipe but I changed it a little and I think these cookies came out delicious!

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
** I used one stick of butter and one stick of crisco
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
**left the brown sugar out**
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups (11.5 oz pkg) Nestle' Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
1 cup rolled oats

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl, Beat butter, granulated sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chunks and oats. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto un-greased baking sheets.

Bake 9-11 minutes. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
