Perfect Lemon Cake Pinterest Project # 146

Snowed here today around 5" Emmeline was off school. Perfect time to decorate for Easter and make this Lemon Bundt Cake! Feels like Spring even with the snow outside!!

This cake was delicious. I added some lemon zest to the batter as well as to the glaze. It came out so good. And so easy. I am impressed with myself :)

Leftover Candy Craft

What to do with all the leftover candy from Valentine's day or in our case..last Easter?? LOL
We do love candy in this house but just a little bit at a time..sometimes the Easter Bunny or Cupid brings a little too much...
This was my brilliant idea to use it up. Instead of stickers and beads and glue to play with..we played with licorice, candy hearts and chocolate coins. Emm had a blast..in between bites of candy...without the glue of course. It was pretty fun..and I am glad the candy is gone for now. One more month until the Easter Bunny brings some more!
