The original project looked a lot better than ours did..
We used a pool noodle/Christmas lights and our curtains were too short.
But...we made it work and we had fun playing on a rainy day so all in all A+++
I plan on making another one following the original instructions next time ;) But I used what I had on hand.
I love buying old cook books at the thrift stores or at yard sales.
The recipe comes from a cookbook called Sugar 'n Spice for recipes so nice!

These fries were absolutely perfect and delicious. I would not say they are low in fat but they are definitely easier than frying in oil!
Tasted delicious..tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
4 Large Baking potatoes
1/2 cup Hellman's mayonnaise
Cut potatoes lengthwise into 2-inch strips ( Or use THIS like I did..easier)
Place mayonnaise in a large plastic food bag. Add potatoes; shake to coat well.
Arrange in a single layter on baking sheet so that strips do not touch.
Sprinkle with salt. Bake in preheated 400° ove for 40 minutes, turning once, or until golden brown and tender.
Drain on paper towels.
