Homemade Blueberry Lemon Thyme Ice Cream

This is a really delicious recipe.
It is a standard recipe for Blueberry Ice Cream...but add some Lemon thyme to it! Delicious!


2 cups Blueberries
1 Tbsp. water
1 Cup of Sugar
2 1/2 cups Whole Milk
2 Cups Whipping Cream
1 TBSP of Lemon Thyme chopped very finely

Combine Blueberries, sugar,water and lemon thyme in small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Transfer to a glass bowl and put in the freezer for an hour or two.
If you want to puree the blueberries you can do that as time I might do that instead of leaving them whole.
Once chilled add to your Milk and Cream
Transfer to your ice cream machine and follow the manufacturers directions.
