Are cats that smart????

Uhh...I think my Alley Cat is!!
Miss Alley has always tried to wake me at 5am..since she was a kitten.
It is just her thing.
Her little clock says..Get Up...Get Up..at 5am.
Mine Does not agree!!
Never has...
She pokes my forehead...swats at my cheek...jumps on my chest/stomach..
whatever it takes for me to get up and FEED her.
Now instead of waking me up...She wakes up my Baby!!
I swear she does it...LOL

Alley knows that I wake up immediately for the baby...
Hmmm so now she wakes up the baby..knowing I will get up? Really?
I have heard her at around 4 am tearing through the house and doing that silly call of the wild thing...dangerously close to Emmelines room...on purpose??
Yeah it is nuts to think this..but I seriously believe she does it!!!
When I catch her in the act I am going to post a picture...LOL
Just out of curiosity....I kept Miss Alley in my bedroom last night.
She had no access to the outside world of Miss Emmeline.
You know what...
My baby girl slept until 8 am this morning...
Hmmm...
Coincidence..or My Alley cat???
We shall see...

Alley always has ruled the roost...and I think it may continue! AHHHH
